The artist TSUNAKI Kuwashima, who has carved a name for himself in the British Museum, believes that clay figurines (Japan) and earthenware (Japan) with human motifs are messages/letters from our ancestors to awaken our latent, yet unaware instincts, and that the "line engraving" that forms these clay figures is the letter (key) that awakens us.
